The Buffalo Sabres went into the 2nd Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on a hot streak after dropping Philadelphia in
a 4-2 series. Last night the Buffalo Sabres made a statement in a 7-6 overtime victory over the Ottawa Senators. Chris Drury
scored the game winner just 18 seconds into the extra period while Tim Connolly and Derek Roy both combined for 7 points in
what many are saying was a game wide Shoot-Out. Buffalo leads the series 1-0.
In other news the Anaheim Ducks (2007) recorded yet another shutout in a 5-0 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.
